Our Cellar Door

Our cellar door is as rustic as the beautiful surrounds.  Inside you will find an eclectic mix of wines, pottery, art and hospitality.

Why not bring a picnic and stay a while? The views over our vineyards to the Brokenback Ranges are breathtaking and there is plenty of space for alfresco lunching.

We are open on Saturdays from 10am to 5pm or by appointment.  Please contact Andrew on 0400 356 867 if you wish to make an appointment.  We live on the property so a stroll down to the cellar door to provide a private tasting just reminds us that we live in a wonderful location with breath taking views doing something we love.  Please call us before visiting as we might on occasion need to suggest an alternative convenient time.

Who We Are

We are a family owned vineyard and live on the property.  We also want to offer something different.  We are not in a competition with our wonderful fellow vignerons but rather want to be part of offering a wonderful diverse experience in Lovedale.  We do not need to follow corporate rules on style or create a wine that will taste exactly the same every year.   We do however make sure we hire viticulturists and wine makers who are very experienced and have built their reputations in the valley.  The only blending we do is combining this expertise with the grapes from our vines.  As a result our wines have their own unique character.  Our vines are carefully pruned to restrict yield.  This ensures greater intensity of flavour.  The grapes are hand picked to ensure quality.

Our History

Our vineyard and cellar door was established approximately 40 years ago.  Initally the vineyard was known as Frasers the vineyard was renamed Warraroong and became know for some fantastic ward winning wines under winemakers who's reputations now enable them to make wines under their own labels.  The Semillon in particular was rated very highly and won many awards.  The shiraz and sparkling also received rave reviews and were much sought after.  We purchased the vineyard in 2013 and have maintained the semillon and expanded the shiraz.  We have regrafted some vines to support chardonnay and red frontignac (to produce the extremely popular Moscato).  The excellent vibrancy and health of our vines meant a very high success rate with the grafting and so the next chapter begins. We cherish our history of great vines and great wines and want to share it with each.
